IL-2 Sturmovik: Battle of Moscow is not just a high-class flight simulator, but history come to life. The game is dedicated to the heroic defense of Moscow, which lasted from October 1941 to April 1942. Players will find 8 aircraft with detailed cockpits, a map of the Moscow and part of the Kalinin region of 1941, a career mode in which they can serve in a real squadron, receive awards and titles, and fierce battles in single-player mode or in air battles with other players. Airfields, both field and permanent, are located according to archival documents and aerial reconnaissance photographs of that period. Large cities are recreated in detail using new technologies based on documents from 1941. Flying to the outskirts of Moscow, you will be able to see from above the layout and all the main objects, accurately recreated as they were at the end of 1941.
