Humans, desperately trying to protect the Earth from the invasion of aliens, begin a counterattack on the planet Stroggos - the homeland of the enemy cybernetic civilization Stroggs. The operation's main goal is to close the portal through which the Stroggs deliver their troops to Earth. With an unsuccessful landing, most of the soldiers were captured or died. In the flight's very beginning, the main hero's landing capsule changes its route during a collision with another capsule. As a result, he finds himself far from the intended landing zone, on a small outskirts of the Strogg base. Left alone, the paratrooper goes to the nearest communications center. Having established communication with the headquarters, he proceeds to fulfill the tasks of the command.
