The Long Dark is a survival and exploration game in which players will have to make their own decisions as they travel through a vast, cold desert that has survived a geomagnetic disaster. There are no zombies in it - only you, the cold and what Mother Nature has prepared for you. Your goal is survival, and death is the only end of the road. The game encourages players to make decisions for themselves by providing them with information but not answers. You must earn the right to live. Monitor your hunger, thirst and temperature, trying to find a balance between the search for resources and the energy expended on them. Every action requires calories, and time is your most valuable resource. Think before you do anything.
